"Purpose of the job"
Leading the local sales team to reach the team’sobjectives. Acting as local KAM for domestic customers and supporting the salesdevelopment according to the group strategy. Coordinating commercial andtechnical topics between Kolmeks and its customers together with the SOM andKAM/KAPM. Responsible of the local development and implementation of sales and offering-process,cost-calculation and supply chain set-up according to “one Kolmeks approach”together with the local Engineering Manager and Managing Director. Managing andencourage the local team responsible for daily operations with customers,contributing actively to high quality customer service.
Area of responsibility
1. Finds competitive solutions for the clients within the capabilities of Kolmeks.
Focus on the “dailyoperations” with the customers.
Focus on one Kolmeksapproach.
Focus on usingimplemented best practices in sales and customer relations.
2. Managingthe local sales support team for daily operations between Kolmeks and thecustomers.
Processing orders, orderconfirmations and invoicing, check that orders and invoices include the correctdata and manage them in the ERP system.
Updating andcommunication of customer Price lists.
New Part Introductionand Product Change Order coordination together with Eng. Mngr.
Communicate customerrequirements with engineering, manufacturing, quality and logistics departmentsto agree on, e.g. delivery dates or production, technical or quality queries.
Coordinate andcommunicate with group and local business controlling functions.
Forecast vs Stockmonitoring, raw material / finished products.
Looks for short andlong-term benefits to the existing and new customers.
Acts as a Local KAM; pro-activelydeveloping initiatives and opportunities into business revenue. Participationin strategic discussions with the customers with the objective to create sales.3. Responsibleof local RFQ handling, pricing and offering.
Reserving resources forimportant RFQ to increase hit rate by right focus.
Supporting costcalculation process and prepare for pricing and offering.
Ensuring thetechnically and financially methods for calculation and pricing are used locally.
4. Competition,market and customer information.
Reporting monthly RFQdata and sales results to SOM.
Collecting andutilizing competitor, market and customer information in CRM system.
Communicatinginternally important feedback from customers.
